Dr. Miller D. Knight is a licensed professional counselor and clinical mental health counselor with over two decades of experience in behavioral health. He currently serves as a Mental Health Professional with Day One Mental Health Services and Steaming Ahead With Health Interventions. Dr. Knight earned his Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and completed his PhD in Psychology at Northcentral University. His professional journey began in 2003 as the Adult Mental Health Team Leader with Daymark Recovery, setting the stage for a career marked by service, leadership, and clinical excellence. In 2016, Dr. Knight joined Marine Corps Community Services in Okinawa, Japan, where he served for four years as a Marine Corps Community Counselor, providing dedicated mental health support to service members and their families. In 2020, he assumed the role of Behavioral Health Director and Therapist at Community Health Systems. There, he successfully expanded behavioral health services, overseeing the development of a 10,000-square-foot
facility and the onboarding of eight new therapists. Since, he has provided services and a therapist for Kathleen Cox & Associates. Dr. Knight brings a wealth of clinical expertise and administrative insight to his current role, grounded in a deep commitment to improving access to quality mental health.
Alwyn Foster works with Steaming Ahead with Health Interventions located in Monona, WI. He is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Goodwin College as well as a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Concordia University. He has been working in the mental health field since 2020, providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals and families. Alwyn is passionate about supporting mental wellness, emotional stability, and helping clients navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity. Outside of his work, Alwyn is a proud family man and Minnesota Vikings fan that enjoys connecting with his community.
Elizabeth Seeliger serves as a Service Facilitator at Steaming Ahead with health Interventions in Monona, WI. Elizabeth earned her Doctorate from the University of WI - Madison and is endorsed by the Wisconsin Association of Infant Mental Health. As an adult adoptee and a parent to both biologic and adopted children, her work is informed by her lived experience. She has earned her badge in Adoption Competency from the Center for Adoption Support and Education. Her work is rooted in a client-centered, trauma-informed approaches. Elizabeth is a certified yoga instructor and has specialized training to work with horses, art, and nature as therapeutic supports for embodiment and expression. Outside of his professional life, Elizabeth operates an equine rescue and loves to spend time with her 3 children in nature. You will most often find her sitting near moving water.
Columba “Cole” Robert Loniello hails from Viola, Wisconsin, where he spent most of his youth. Mr. Loniello joined Steaming Ahead with Mental Health in August 2025 as a Service Facilitator after working the better part of two years as a Direct Support Professional in Minnesota and a Probation and Parole Agent for Sauk County. Mr. Loniello holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (minor in Philosophy) from Winona State University (May 2018) and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Sam Houston State University (May 2022), where he composed a thesis which examined the cultural and sociological implications of abuse and trauma portrayals on three shows on the CW network – Arrow, All American, and Supergirl. Mr. Loniello presented these research findings at the 20th Annual Cultural Studies Association Conference in June 2022 at Columbia College in Chicago. Professionally, he would like to obtain his Substance Abuse Counselor licensure to better understand the addiction and counseling fields. To this end, Mr. Loniello will be enrolling in a grant-funded program to obtain this licensure online through Concordia University in January 2026. Personally, Mr. Loniello splits his time between his girlfriend, Katy’s, home in Cross Plains and his own home in Lake Delton; he and Katy will be welcoming twins in late February or early March 2026. In his free time, Mr. Loniello enjoys taking walks, shooting hoops, reading, watching TV shows/movies/YouTube, playing video games, spending time with his family and friends, and taking naps. Lastly, he considers his greatest personal and professional strengths to be his communication skills, compassion, kindness, patience, and writing skills.
Heidi Figueroa-Velez is a proud Puerto Rican mother of two smart
girls, a passionate advocate for her Latinx community, and a
dedicated volunteer with the youth and children of her church.
Heidi has 18+ years of experience working in various jobs in
Dane, but has always managed to work with a community dear to
her heart, the Latinx/Hispanic community. Being bilingual has
been a blessing for her, she worked as a Parent Educator for
CSSW, and a preschool teacher assistant for MMSD, at the Clinica
Latina of Journey Mental Health Center, and currently, she works
as a Bilingual Family Advocate and Forensic Interviewer at Safe
Harbor Child Advocacy Center. In February of 2023, with the collaboration of many community agencies and community members, Heidi was able to bring the Vagina Monologues to the stage to raise money to help victims of sexual abuse and child abuse pay for their immigration legal fees. She is working on getting her Master’s in Marriage and Family Counselor at Edgewood College.
Jody is the Operations Manager at Steaming Ahead With Health Interventions. Originally from Wisconsin, she graduated from Whitewater High School in 2006. Since then, she has dedicated her time to volunteering in various mental health and substance use settings by working with organizations such as NAMI Dane County, Shatterproof, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Jody has been in long term recovery for over a decade and is passionate about providing essential mental health and substance use resources to individuals within her network and advocating for those who lack access or the means to advocate for themselves within her community. Outside of work, Jody enjoys creating lasting memories with her spouse, Nadra and two dachshunds, Tucker and Queenie, as well as spending time with friends and family.
